Battle of the Burgers: a magical food journey through London

Okay, I say journey -- what I really mean is I went to London and had two incredible burgers and a pretty average Big Mac because I'm a fatass. I'll skip the Big Mac because there's not much to say, and if you've never had one and are curious as to what that tastes like (and sheltered, how have you never had a Big Mac before?!) you can just pop down to your local High Street and get one from "maccys" (I'm slowly adapting to UK lingo!) yourself.

Why LaLa Land isn't the best film of the year

I went to watch Damien Chazelle’s latest feature film with my mother earlier this week. I had heard nothing but praise for the film; critics have given the musical romance stellar reviews, my Snapchat, Facebook, and Instagram are flooded — and I really do mean FLOODED — with friends declaring their love for it, and a week ago, the movie set a record for most Golden Globes won by a single film. It is a favourite to win Best Picture at the Oscar’s later this year.

Radiohead tops charts with 'A Moon Shaped Pool'

Radiohead’s A Moon Shaped Pool has reached no.1 on UK charts, passing Beyoncé’s Lemonade and Skepta's Konnichiwa. 

What strikes me most about this is the fact that they achieved this with no marketing campaign, no advertisement, no announcements. The album was released without any promotion from the band themselves, and it skyrocketed to the top of the charts.

Jaden Smith is now modeling Louis Vuitton’s SS16 Women’s line, despite being neither female nor a model. The fashion world’s reaction to this has been very much like my flatmates’ when I almost burned down our kitchen making pasta today — supportive, but also oh my God what is going on.
