Reporting and Writing Lecturer Sarah Lonsdale won her third award for environmental reporting at a national press awards ceremony this week. Winning the award for 'environment and sustainability writer of the year' for her Sunday Telegraph weekly columns at the National Press Property Awards in London, Sarah was praised for her in-depth knowledge of the subject and her 'engaging writing style'. This is the third award for environmental journalism Sarah has won in four years. In 2007 she was runner-up in the prestigious British Environment and Media awards in the 'Journalist of the Year' category and in 2008 she won 'Environmental Journalist of the Year' in the National Press Property Awards.

Green - with envy!
An "engaging writing style" - what a great tribute when you're tackling a hugely complex subject so regularly and for such a discerning audience. A fine example for us all. ron
